About the partner organizations
Birth of larp in the Arab world is a cooperation between the Palestinian Peace and Freedome forum in Palestine, Al Jalil Organization for Development in Rashidieh, Lebanon and Fantasiforbundet in Norway.
Al Jalil Organization for Development was established in 2011. They focus on social interaction, children and youth participation, free time activities, healthy social environments and the importance of education for young people in refugee camps in Lebanon. They have established and are running a youth centre in Rashidieh.
The Peace Freedom Youth Forum is a youth initiative in the West Bank, Palestine. Their goal is to empower Palestinian youth and enforce their legitimacy as a part of Palestinian society. They are working to enhance young peoples sense of identity and ties to their own local communities, and to help them influence their own future. They are built on a philosophy of democracy, secular thinking and non-violence.
Fantasiforbundet is a Norwegian cultural NGO who works to create a more fun and fantastic society. Fantasiforbundet aims to empower young people to be able to influence their own societies by turning their ideas into real life projects. Their international initiatives emerge from a belief that all human beings deserve the right to express themselves culturally and creatively, and to have the freedom of organization and free speech.
